Details

The SYSC Consolidated Research Report contains the full breadth of our research portfolio, representing the findings across 34 projects delivered between 2021-2026. It has been divided into six thematic chapters. Each chapter contains an in-depth overview of the challenges the region faces along with the SYSC research response. This is followed by recommendations for regional policy makers. Finally, each section then contains a series of detailed case study reports from our individual research projects.

The structure of this report mirrors the SYSC research themes, which were designed to respond to the challenges posed by South Yorkshire’s highest emitting but most difficult to decarbonise sectors. While it is divided into six separate themes each chapter draws on interdisciplinary research representing the challenges as they are faced at a systemic level.

We hope you enjoy reading report and finding out more about what we have been doing. Do get in touch with us if you have ideas of how we can work together in future.
